Don't be daunted if the surname for which you are searching doesn't appear on this list.  

For example, an astute genealogist will note that the name Spina wasn't introduced in Poggioreale until 1886

when an artisan settled in Poggioreale, married and had four children who eventually left for America.

This limited line, although not characterized as a common name, is important nonetheless.

So keep searching the records! You will find your family eventually.
